Photographic Art - "A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words"
The photographs that I create stem from a life-long visual pursuit to understand the world around me. In this effort, I look to make images that question interpretation from the abstract to the realistic to draw viewers into the image. With few exceptions, (Liquid Flowers and Architectural Moonscapes Collections), my work is made in-camera with minimal raw image processing to elicit emotion and reflection. Each Collection focuses on a specific theme rigorously studied capturing both the emotional visualization and the technical data of the Collection. I prefer to let each photograph stand on its own intentionally minimizing the description allowing the viewer to ponder the image to determine what it means or feels to them. And for me, the photographs represent an internal psychology of exploration about my place in life.
